How to use the Medicare Plan Finder:

Follow these simple steps to find and enroll in your perfect plan

Step 1: Enter Your ZIP Code and County

- Enter your ZIP code

- Select your county from the dropdown menu

- Click "Find plans" to see all available options in your area

Step 2: Add Your Doctors

- You'll see "Add doctors" - click this blue link

- Search by your doctor's last name

- Set the radius (how far you're willing to travel)

- Important: If you skip this, you won't see if your doctors are covered

Step 3: Add Your Medications

- Click "Add medications"

- Enter the first 4 letters of each medication name

- The system will find your exact medication

- Important: Skipping this means you won't see prescription costs

Step 4: Add Your Pharmacy

- Choose if you use a specific pharmacy, mail order, or none

- Search for your preferred pharmacy (like CVS, Walgreens, etc.)

Step 5: Answer Usage Questions

- How often do you see doctors or use medical benefits?

- Choose: Rarely, Occasionally, or Frequently

- This helps estimate your total annual costs

Step 6: Add Current Plan Info (If You Have One)

- Are you currently enrolled in Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug plan?

- Select your current plan type: Original Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Other, or "I don't know"

Step 7: Review Your Plan Options

- Plans are sorted by "Monthly premium" (you can change this)

- Green text = your doctors and medications are covered

- Look at "Estimated Annual costs" - this is your total yearly cost

- Click "More Information" to see full plan details

Step 8: Choose Your Plan and Enroll

- Click the blue "Enroll" button on your chosen plan

- You'll see enrollment requirements and what happens next

- Click the final "Enroll" button to start your application

Step 9: Complete Your Application

- Enter your Medicare number and birth date

- Fill out personal information (name, address, phone, email)

- Enter your Medicare information from your red, white & blue card

- Choose your enrollment period (for turning 65, select "I am new to Medicare")

- Review and submit your application
